COLD silence

Cold silence breaks the noise in my heart.
Where places for'shelter' turned into dens of violence&control.
Road blocks everywhere . No where to run.
Resistence. Menace.Tension.

What is 'hope' when great-visionary messages sold at pulpits fail to see reality
through broken lenses infront of them?

Unsafe cribs, wrapped in dirty blankets surrounded by practitioners of violence, hate & murder.

Building a facet for the world to see how noble we can be through our beliefs?
Accrediting pins of achievement on the uniform?
Medals of honor or horror?

.. ONE thing I know.Christ died for something..
CHANGE is COMING.

Reflecting the song from Jars of Clay -
Liquid
From the album Jars Of Clay

Arms nailed down
Are you tellin me something?
Eyes turned out
Are you looking for someone?

This is the one thing
The one thing that I know

Blood stained brow
Are you dying for nothing?
Flesh and blood
Is it so elemental?

This is the one thing
The one thing that I know

Blood stained brow
He wasn't broken for nothingArms nailed down
He didn't die for nothing

This is the ONE THING
The one thing that I know

colors

Its funny how colors tells the mood, occasion and personality of a person.
"feeling blue...hot...etc,"
Colors have symbolism and color meanings that go beyond ink.

For eg. :
Cool Color Meanings (calming): Blue, Green, Turquoise, Silver
Warm Color Meanings (exciting): Red, Pink, Yellow, Gold, Orange
Mixed Cool/Warm Color Meanings: Purple, Lavender, Green, Turquoise
Neutral Color Meanings (unifying): Brown, Beige, Ivory, Gray, Black, White

here is some interesting article by David Johnson on Color Psychology

Black is the color of authority and power. It is popular in fashion because it makes people appear thinner. It is also stylish and timeless. Black also implies submission. Priests wear black to signify submission to God. Some fashion experts say a woman wearing black implies submission to men. Black outfits can also be overpowering, or make the wearer seem aloof or evil. Villains, such as Dracula, often wear black.

White Brides wear white to symbolize innocence and purity. White reflects light

and is considered a summer color. White is popular in decorating and in fashion because it is light, neutral, and goes with everything. However, white shows dirt and is therefore more difficult to keep clean than other colors. Doctors and nurses wear white to imply sterility.

Red The most emotionally intense color, red stimulates a faster heartbeat and breathing. It is also the color of love. Red clothing gets noticed and makes the wearer appear heavier. Since it is an extreme color, red clothing might not help people in negotiations or confrontations.
Red cars are popular targets for thieves.
In decorating, red is usually used as an accent. Decorators say that red furniture should be perfect since it will attract attention.

The most romantic color, pink, is more tranquilizing. Sports teams sometimes paint the locker rooms used by opposing teams bright pink so their opponents will lose energy.

Blue The color of the sky and the ocean, blue is one of the most popular colors. It causes the opposite reaction as red. Peaceful, tranquil blue

causes the body to produce calming chemicals, so it is often used in bedrooms. Blue can also be cold and depressing. Fashion consultants recommend wearing blue to job interviews because it symbolizes loyalty. People are more productive in blue rooms. Studies show weightlifters are able to handle heavier weights in blue gyms.

Green Currently the most popular decorating color, green symbolizes nature. It is the easiest color on the eye and can improve vision. It is a calming, refreshing color. People waiting to appear on TV sit in "green rooms" to relax. Hospitals often use green because it relaxes patients. Brides in the Middle Ages wore green to symbolize fertility. Dark green is masculine, conservative, and implies wealth. However, seamstresses often refuse to use green thread on the eve of a fashion show for fear it will bring bad luck.

Yellow Cheerful sunny yellow is an attention getter. While it is considered an optimistic color, people lose their tempers more often in yellow rooms, and babies will cry more. It is the most difficult color for the eye to take in, so it can be overpowering if overused. Yellow enhances concentration, hence its use for legal pads. It also speeds metabolism.

PurpleThe color of royalty, purple connotes luxury, wealth, and sophistication. It is also feminine and romantic. However, because it is rare in nature, purple can appear artificial.

Brown Solid, reliable brown is the color of earth and is abundant in nature. Light brown implies genuineness while dark brown is similar to wood or leather. Brown can also be sad and wistful. Men are more apt to say brown is one of their favorite colors.

Now that you know, what color is on you now? :))

lurve in the air ?

Erotic love, Courtly love ,Greek love ,Religious love ,Erotic love ,Platonic love ,Familial love ,Puppy love , Romantic love,Unrequited love, problematic love, ...

Roots :
FEB 14 are in ancient Roman festival of Lupercalia, a fertility celebration commemorated annually on February 15. Pope Gelasius I recast this pagan festival as a Christian feast day circa 496, declaring February 14 to be St. Valentine's Day.
according to the Catholic Encyclopedia, there were at least three early Christian saints by that name.

One was a priest in Rome, another a bishop in Terni, and of a third St. Valentine
almost nothing is known except that he met his end in Africa. Rather astonishingly, all three Valentines were said to have been martyred on Feb. 14.

Most scholars believe that the St. Valentine of the holiday was a priest who attracted the disfavor of Roman emperor Claudius II around 270.

LEGEND 1
According to one legend, Claudius II had forbid marriage for young men, claiming that bachelors made better soldiers. Valentine continued to secretly perform marriage ceremonies but was eventually apprehended by the Romans and put to death.

LEGEND 2
Another legend has it that Valentine, imprisoned by Claudius, fell in love with the daughter of his jailer. Before he was executed, he allegedly sent her a letter signed "from your Valentine." Probably the most plausible story surrounding St. Valentine is one not focused on Eros (passionate love) but on agape (Christian love): he was martyred for refusing to renounce his religion.

MARKINGS?
Embrace it as an opportunity to arouse situations?
Is it a day of remorse, sweet reminiscence?

When is ready or so it desires?
“First we make our habits, then our habits make us.”
Charles C. Noble

SOLOMON:
3 His left arm is under my head
and his right arm embraces me.

4 Daughters of Jerusalem, I charge you:
Do not arouse or awaken love
until it so desires.
New International Version

3-4 Imagine! His left hand cradling my head,
his right arm around my waist!
Oh, let me warn you, sisters in Jerusalem:
Don't excite love, don't stir it up,
until the time is ripe—and you're ready.

Just the other day ..a good friend of mine reminded me on what we spoke --living a life that paints a direction - -like signboards

What signs do we point to?
Are they direct or misleading?
What does it mean?

My guess for now : we change our signboards from time to time.

At times we protest, stop , move on , make u-turns or stay pointing a direction.

Sign boards leaves the people one decision:
- to break the law the sign suggests or to follow it.

What signs are we putting up now?
