pics

pics pics pics.. they paint a better story than words you think?
well..thought of uploading sum food pics of " first attempts"... :)
its fun ! the company - - is better.

here's for those who wana attempt to do the "chinese red eggs". remember to google up. it is not as ez as painting it red :P
oh yea.. this is for those who aren't chinese:
the red eggs is like a customary thing that the chinese people do on birthdays.

significance wise, im not too sure but i think its sumptin to do with prosperity?
but i did it for fun:P plus you can tell the next pic getting all creative and stuff. :P

dad's fav ("lam mee") birthday noodles was the other attempt.
red eggs, crab meat, spring onions, prawns, shredded chicken...YUMmY!
recipe? google!

Red eggs, birthday mee... it was a whole lot fun messin up the kitchen.

oh yea. I remembered talking about the pics i never got to load up. here is the place i stayed when i was in Tampa Bay, Florida. I miss coco(cat), buddy(dog) and the people there.

The lower basement (down the ground ?its really cool)is where I slept and the attic ..was the office I worked in.When I arrived at the States, it was pitch dark and seems to me like Sungai Petani ahahhaha (its like the countryside in Malaysia) so yea...

It was summer when I was there .. thank gawd the house had air-condition and so ... i wasnt complainin' but then again, Malaysia is summer all year long! lol ! so what is there 2 complain about? oh yea this reminds me bout this lady, she was like ,"man!this plaz is gettin' my body burned up,I cant think straight anymore. Its drivin' me crazzzee!". that was life in Tampa Bay , Florida.
slooowww AND eaaaasaayyyyyy.

tried to blend in with the pace but like I said in my earlier post... preeety hard.
i guess its the Malaysian city culture I was in...you know ..everyone is always in a hurry... they don't always entertain strangers and most of the time ...minding their own business.

whereas in Tampa Bay, things r a lil' slower and people are friendlier?
I learn a lot in the states. taking it ezaaayyyyy.

Guess it is never too late to put them to practice what I learnt.

recently the Sanborns were in town.yerps they were in Malaysia

aight..gona stop here cos the loading for the next pics is just toooooooooo slow

reunion

the Sanborns...
brings me back to the times in Florida when I was forced to stop working, to start breathing and recuperate from my work in Malaysia.

ellen constantly remind me to pace down my work cos there seem to be no end for me. and she was right.
it is like ...right after devo, it would be work , work , work. so much so I pretty much forgotten that I was in the States! I can still remember this one time when i worked late in the 'office' which was at the attic (its really cool - will upload the pic when im at my comp...) Art would say, "Jessica. Please go to bed. Its late." and I would say 'ok' but when i took my lappy to my room , I worked through the hours to get my assignments and work done right.

much have I learnt in the states, but have yet put into practice:
to pace myself and enjoy "time" with the people I love.

Art is definite a great role model for many. He wrote many great journeys he and his family had during his call to missions and his miraculous testimony of healing. It is called , "A Walking Miracle", which can be purchased in bookstores ie Canaanland...etc.
I really admire that man. He walks 10km a day and he never fails!
I have not heard any grumblings from that man when I worked with him...David mentioned that Art would thanked God in whatever situation he is and it reminded me how Job faithfully served God in his situation.

Sometimes the routines in life shapes us in a fainted way and so we have to dig deep in to discover their meanings. I guess not many think likewise especially people who whines at the smallest spots which was intended to complete a picture for them.
I am trying my best not to complain about my routines nowadays...and the reunion provided me a great jump to my next 'adventure'

= what a great - -family, reunion for me :)
