ah hemm...

Did you know that Thosai is rich in carbohydrates and protein?
my ..my ...my....i just had the most supa nice thosai made by my bf's mom.

she rawks!

Varieties..varieties .. varieties... for you thosai lovers out there!yum yum
  • Egg -spread with an omelette.
  • Chilli - chilli powder is spread on the thosai.
  • Onion - chopped and sautéd onions are spread on the thosai.
  • Ghee (thuppa/neyyi) dosa - ghee is used instead of oil while frying the thosai.
  • Butter - butter is used instead of oil while frying thosai and a small amount on top of it while serving.
  • Roast - the thosai is spread thinly and fried until crisp. * owh...i had this one:p
  • Family roast - a long thosai which can be spread over 2 or 3 feet.
  • Paper - a long and very thin delicate dosa which can be spread over 2 feet.
  • Green - a thosai stuffed with fresh vegetables and mint chutney.
  • Chow-chow - stuffed with (Indian flavored) Chinese noodles. *this one may b interesting eh?
  • Cheese - stuffed with cheese.
  • Masala -stuffed with spiced potatoes (famous in South India)
