pain is good?

hats up 2dis lady in my class 4sharing a good devo.

compassion.

in a nutshell, she shares that it involves pain , risk & investment which results in healing for the sick, healing of the heart and whatever you name it, there it is.

but the most I gain from yesterday's class was not the devo.. but our lecturer's view on the topic:disappointment. how one's actions affects the "faith" of another.
we are all casualities of it.

often said, it is easier to judge and giving advices... plunging in risks, pain and a great investment which would transform lives yadada... to add on?
.. the psycho talks by extremist ... believe me, its very annoying to meet them.
and they somehow do not excite me. :)

if pain is all good, why the healing?
if pain results in successful outcomes, why are we learning steps to avoid mistakes?
if pain is an investment, why the little returns on appreciation? (false humility eh?)

it was a very long time ago when I shared with people (whom I thought at that time, was worth investing) that disappointments takes a very heavy toll on our spiritual walk.

Much as we say: to place it on 'God's altar'(it means to leave your burdens at an unseen place of sacrifice, or a creative imagination of a place to dump your feelings), have a priority list (chart in placing God first, etc) and living uprightly,

all in all it...

somehow mirror, wicked conditions of the human heart.
No matter how genuine we can be,
I believe the percentage of a pessimist view would have greater influence than an optimist view. period.
it's even more devastating if ego steps in..

but I'm glad one special person made a difference in my life.....
he broke the norm of disappointments, he helped me recognize that we have a responsibility in handling our pains.
I love him loadsss.
erm...nope I'm not talking about Jesus (can't stand this guy who posts up about his "friend" and trying to preach from the blog than acting real to his own peers, man its already so sad that he doesnt have 'friends' , let alone preaching about Him ?

We know Christ' works and word are irrevokeable , infallible and awesome but let's get real I'm talking about a person.

well it is no surprise that person is my sweetie. :)

how true that the people closest to us have a greater impact on us and no matter how religious , pious or devoted a person can be, we cannot avoid the pain of dispointments.
thank gawd, no matter what we do, we just got to own up & take responsibility in helping others out of the ditch of disappointments. He helped me :) thanks sweetie

i don't think pain is good but I do think it scars us to avoid making mistakes & it is not pschoing your pain into a so called good use (the maybes as some would say, that will help them in future yadada...)

recognize that the pain effects are bad.

bad bad bad

.. and we face disappointments every time.

though we cannot avoid certain pains like (this illustration is for mothers)child labour, or surgery/infection etc, there's got to be a wake up call for believers (Christians) to GET REAL.
recognise that we cannot avoid pain and it is not good at all on us what more the effects on others.

pain is soooo not good.. not good at all.

..looks like we have a heavy responsibility on our preaching...
disappointments are unavoidable however we can change the outcome
