there are days my eyes really sore ie. seeing irresponsible people dumping their rubbish in the river, littering, using tons of plastic bags
anyways... what do we do on a hot day?
1. wear your birthday suit?
2. drink lots of water?
3. stay indoor?
4.park yourself in a mall?
5.go for a swim?

My boyfriend made me a really goooooooooooooooood refreshing drink
" Peppermint Lemon-Tea "
Yeap! isnt he nice?

Here's an interesting ad...HAHA
catch what it advertises

5 "styles"photographer!
.
1.Sleeping
2.Crouching
3.Dancing
4.Kicking
5.Rolling

I think the "kicking photographer" would be a HILARIOUS one.....
especially if they are Muay Thai boxers.

Anyways HOT DAY2u!

tilt to balance

is it worth the time to 'queue' ?

victims of mood swings may not be the spot any of us wana be.
most of us see ourselves as as "victims" not realizing that we ourselves at one time have leashed on somebody just because something is not right or just off the usual.
have this got to do with our belief or value system, culture?
im guessing its just "us",trying to fit in,
go where we feel, think, or know is right ~ then we opt to either adapt or compromise or leave.
however, nothing beats the learning curbs from failures, accidents and mistakes.
it tends to pressure us to decide ; an action, a solution, a route to take, a correct "word" at an appropriate time --well i don't like to decide....or at least i "try" not to.
simply because it helps to reflect and know who you really are... and correct where you can only do as much ~ YOU.
where is the tilt to perfect balance?
have we complained, whined and thought too much , we cannot see what is real and what is fictional? someone i know says its because of karma. i think i need to strike a balance in my thoughts and actions. too much thinking takes out time in my doing... and it is only good to live your life out 'meaningful' than a fictional 'normal-life'
after all we weigh our decisions and talking about that, not too sure how long i can last staying optimist, but each time it is hopeful, it stays
.
.
.

positive.

pictures

pictures paint a thousand words they say.
it is so often we see couples cam whoring , posting pics of themselves on their fb...i know of some to went to the extreme of placing their pics on their desktop, in auto mode!
... then again--maybe not so now..cos i remember seeing folders LOL!
for the singles their idols,
for couples their mementos'
what can we value from pics? memories? 'a statement'?
for me, it can scar us especially if taken on a wrong angle...yeap you know what i mean.
anyways, back to painting, it saddens me that even some of your happiest moments can be your disastrous one when sweet memories goes sour...so what do you do with them?
i throw them away but somehow, there will be some left in the 'folders' to remind you of your past, your moments and pride you once had with them.

so have you search out your folders which to keep and which to post?
i hope none are in ' all to keep' folders and post what you 'are' at present.
:D

drama queen

so.............
are we oblivious about them?
i saw one yesterday.well its been a while since i encountered with one in public...
anyways ..having to face with many 'drama-queens' in my previous jobs, have helped me more in the past compared to today..cos the amount of patience i had to cultivate...
so enjoy if you are in my shoes and have lost your touch in dealing with retards here's for you to remember :) :)

one thing for sure you can definitely tell that they are really...really ... "retards" :D seriously! LOL. They try to project their bravery by ( i know this is so weird but here's what they do)

1.chuckling, or get people into their created boost their esteem.
2.talk very loud
3.pretending to be busy with their phones/iphone
4.smiling to themselves?
5.hacking people's facebook
6.creating a fictional 'partner' or 'admirer' for themselves in convos and even their blogs!
7.spending their money at places which they think can portray their image
8.acting that they are readers...
9.get sucked into romantic films or scandalous series ie. gossip girls haha
10.overly paranoid reading this blog ! HAHAHA

im sure you can add more to my list.

ONE thing when dealing with 'drama queens' is we often decide to ignore them or not.

some thrash them physically when they least expect, whereas some help themselves in destroying their image by simply

ignoring them. i will opt for this.

i have come to realize that the actions above are left meaningless ONLY when we ignore them.
cos think of this; it is not worth paying attention on them when the spotlight is - you.

of course we are all annoyed by them... but seriously it is worth your time entertaining them?
so remember when you are with 'one'

have fun watching their 'drama'... if you are not up to watch simply leave them to their retarded world,
cos we aren't that insane to join.

breaking the norm is ...

Its been a while since I hunt for free tickets to premier screenings..it is the adrenalin of winning sumpthin, viewing a premier and being first in the queue. felt that rush before?
the other day i saw iron man2 on the billboard and I was like whoaaaaa ... i so wanna watch that.
titans was really entertaining.
what i really hope to win now is the date night..its up to you nuffnang! :D (read my post below this one~thanks!)

what do you think? if less is more is more less?

it was on a billboard the other day and i thought it was thought provoking.

at the park, i met lily.

.
.
.
she is a disabled or handicap
i intentionally walked the opposite direction to feel how it is like to do beyond the ordinary. .
( did you know in the states people walk on the right side and we Malaysians walk on the left side. what i mean to say is ... because they drive on the right side of the road, even walking, they walk on the right side ... just observe and you will know what I mean.)
.
.
so yea... i chose to walk against the flow, and there she was.

I noticed she consistently greet me in her same tone with a smile.
but the rest of the people at the park,
looked down,
minding their own business and
didn't bother to look the people around them.

...... then in the third round, i thought of doing something different with lily.
.
.
I waved at her as she was approaching instead of smiling and saying hi to her.
guess what ?
.
.
at the fourth round she stopped wishing me and instead waved at me.
her mom then walked behind her...
she told her to mind her own business...
.
.
fifth round, lily looked at me - smiled and waved.

on the sixth round, she chose to be friendly with me despite warnings from her mom to mind her own business ( really i think the mom was trying not to annoy me as 'everybody else' was in their own world, minding their own business. )
.
.

I tried to communicate with lily and I understood why her mom reacted that way.
surprisingly lily thought the same as me too.
.
.
on the seventh round, lily's mom walked ahead of her and as she came nearer to me,
I looked and smiled at her...
and she responded like lily.
sometimes we need to break the norm to free others from a mundane cycle ...
Lily broke the norm.. as a result her mom and myself were free from the odd & cold cycle..
why don't you try it out today?
gona see what else I can do to break the norm today..

My Date Night

what do you write to win two tickets for , "Date night" movie?
here's my date nite with my soul mate Emmanuel Surendra.

i remember traveling on a 6hours bus just to meet him . we were very new in our relationship. my heart beat was really fast and minutes seemed light years !
I just couldn't wait to see him again. - - ahh finally in the arms of my sweetie or so I thought:)

we were both sending countless sms-es and counting down the seconds we would see each other....finally on my last count, "1..zero".... I saw sweetie leaning on his white car.

we were both excited, hungry & tired.so we headed for the nearest Macker's but on the way, one of the tires blew, the engine crashed ... and finally came to a halt at a gas station.

Hmm... now we have all the time to ourselves :D

Surprisingly ... I was not agitated or angry... in fact I was glad that his car died? Cos we would not have known 2 crucial facts :
1.we were both broke and probably we would have wash some dishes at the kitchen to compensate our meals?
2. we wouldn't have known ourselves
hahaha.... thankfully for some cents in my pockets i was able to buy ourselves 1 nice cold ice lemon tea and 1 bun from the kiosk..

so much of our nite date but the best one.

what you 'ideally don't have' is really what you need 'to have'. - - me

a day a time

aha.
this is the new us.
we both had our hair cut& dont we look awesome!? hehehhe
...

really stressing out to complete my studies and my nose is like a leaking pipe!must have ate too much oranges ... hehehhe oh well like sweetie says it, " its soooo worth it!".

I enjoyed a day's pace . to see the end from the beginning is not enjoyable ya?

was thinkin to myself about monk's final episodes... if the writers had thought the beginning on monk's ending, it would had been a betta outcome.~~ well i change my mind.
I guess its nicer when we take it a step a day and deal with the bigger picture later.
afterall, what do we know about ...

our endings?
nobody really knows our endings but we know what we can do for that day and time.
have we done our part in making it better or worser?

gosh.really struggling this sem. .
its fun when i see it a day at a time..but time dont seem to allow me 2do that.

anyways back to recap on cny & feb14.... i had so much fun : jap escapade with sweetie which lasted for more than 2 weeks! can you believe it?
talk about good company, the more I know my sweetie (my bf) the more i see my flaws...weird aint it?
i guess the more we see the good in others , the more we come to realize about some room for our own improvement.. life! so full of exciting times isnt it?

a few hours to go

another few hours till dateline and I haven't begun my paper!
ugh! no inspiration! man , i admire people who can just meet datelines, be like in an automotive mode. huhuhu...

can't wait for tonite cos will be at my bf's house for diner :)

aunt rebecca is really good at cooking! ah....briyani rice , curry and veggies!
i lurve apoms... idlee, the chapati and some pass on traditional pancake which I 4gotten the name...sweetie lurvesss them.

she really inspires me to look forward in the potentials of others. plus, her strong willed character always pave an incredible job well done. i think she deserves a noble prize. she feeds the homeless, invites them to her home for Christmas, she raised funds for charity, started a website for the church, http://www.gracecommunityservices.com.my but was neva credited for.
Gosh. now that's what we call humility.
(her pic is not there either... :( i should try to take a pic with her hehehhe) somehow my attempts have failed... hope tonite would be successful.

Her experiences with kids, and her passion for Christ ~is very contagious. *haha yeap sweetie you've caught it too.

I really think God should reward her with some gadzillion-dollar-reward but even with that amount of money I am sure, she would still give it away to the poor....hahahha man! talk about generousity.

Isn't it true the more we have, the lesser we give?

we see the unicef staff at Tesco beggin' for sponsors and most reaction I see from the crowd is
a cold shoulder.
Once my bf asked how he can contribute, they said through the amount they have set.
they are targetting big amounts and any amount we give.
so maybe that was their failure but ... then most people just .... avoid?

We had that experience when we did, "Spread the Warmth Project".
I noticed whenever we hold a charity box, people would automatically walk away.
Even though we do not mind the amount of donation.
I remember I was so tired and jokingly said,
"some 'sense' , please?"hahah
I remember a celebrity didnt want to give (maybe he is actually poor but acting rich) but
a generous Miss World Lina Teoh gave and also enquired more about the services.
Gosh now that is ROLE -MODELLING! shout out to Lina Teoh.

U know, some of my frens living in mansions, when you go out with them, they would be so calculative ...they cant even spend their friends some 'shit-char' hahaha
(chinese tea with ice which costs them only RM0.50)

i wonder if chuches are partnering to help out the 3 churches which got burnt down, 2days ago....
It would be great to see or hear about it rather than going for some 'vigil service' cos it is at this time, they need the physical support.
for some of you who didnt know what happen.... just click on the link.

Ok ... I really have to work on my paper.
will update some photos when I come back later.

tag a price?

Unmerited favor ~ how measurable is it anyway?

Just the other day, my lecturer shared with us an interesting topic on "grace".
The many questions as to people that are unreached, have never heard about the gospel, do they inherit their citizenship in heaven? Some hastily stand on the side that Jesus is the Ultimate Way - so damned they'll b.

I questioned this thought, more so for the people around us who are undeserving... they are all out to murder, slander and gossip, so what have we to do with them?

somehow, how much grace are we to extend or not?
don't we all want the 'answers'?
strangely for this post, I do not think we deserve to tag a price for it because each of us walked the paths, paid our dues and have to move on....

or haven't we?

January 04, 2010

Christmasssyyyy & escapades

christmassssyyyyyyy.........

my Christmas feels more like valentines!
it started with a box of Belgium chocs

then a treat frm San Fransisco's Coffee,
followed by
nice Sa Shi Mi, sushi ..yummy! and then he surprised me with my fav ~ daisy!
(thanks sweetie~ lov ya so so much!you really make my day!)
we had so much fun laughin at some combo jap names with chinese surnames.
thinking about it makes me laugh :P

DECEMBER....definitely a season of lurve!
Compared to the past, I don't feel pressured this year.

Weeks before Christmas sweetie & me attended Choo's wedding.
Congrats again Choo!

Lurve is definitely in the air of DECEMBER ...Haha
oh yafor some of you who dont know this .. this cny falls on valentines day, FEB14...hehe season of lurve again!

FACEBOOK:

Oh my .... Im checking out some strange fb messages, bombarding on how righteous they 'should' be (christmas is not about this, or that is about the hungry, homeless, etc.I think these people have missed out BIG picture-- reality.
Aren't you tired of their whinning? Cos I am.
Attempts to be 'different' by rephrasing the 'What Would Jesus Do' when they aren't Christ. pfmmphh! DuH!!!*faints*

If they think non believers are moved by our compassion for the poor, they are so wrong. Sometimes I think these people are saying out of their guilt because they cannot give consistently on regular days except for these seasons; Christmas, Hari Raya, Chinese New Year or even Deepavali. Maybe they should consider Halloween since they fitted well for that season.

BACK TO CHRISTMASSSSYYYY :)
Weirdos a side,
I had a great Christmas with sweetie and ...fresh faces from the 'hood! :)) BBQ lamb, sausages, wings, pasta, etc..... seafood , salad was awesome!
The party lasted till around 3am..we were so exhausted.

More to FUN escapades, we got free passes to watch the Sherlock Holmes , premier screening.
Weeks before that free 3D screening to , 'A Christmas Carol' -- also a premier screening.
Woohoo!
Talk about blessing huh?

I thought Twilight was ok but my bf didnt enjoyed it :(
Thank gawd we agreed on Avatar , we gave it : 10/10 !!!'cos it was so entertaining.
The effects and set was beyond superb.
Just google up on them you will know why.

glimpse of our escapades :
"helicopter?"

fishing village

SO yea.. cHRistmas this year feels like valentines to me .
I had an awesome time with those near and far heheh , met new friends, reconect with childhood friends, discovering new places, food and people,
..but most of all I enjoyed my time with my soul mate and his never-ending surprises.
Im tellin you - - he is really.. really, really, good at it.

Thanks for everything, sweetie! Muack!
Love ya :)
and wishing you readers a great 2010

pics

pics pics pics.. they paint a better story than words you think?
well..thought of uploading sum food pics of " first attempts"... :)
its fun ! the company - - is better.

here's for those who wana attempt to do the "chinese red eggs". remember to google up. it is not as ez as painting it red :P
oh yea.. this is for those who aren't chinese:
the red eggs is like a customary thing that the chinese people do on birthdays.

significance wise, im not too sure but i think its sumptin to do with prosperity?
but i did it for fun:P plus you can tell the next pic getting all creative and stuff. :P

dad's fav ("lam mee") birthday noodles was the other attempt.
red eggs, crab meat, spring onions, prawns, shredded chicken...YUMmY!
recipe? google!

Red eggs, birthday mee... it was a whole lot fun messin up the kitchen.

oh yea. I remembered talking about the pics i never got to load up. here is the place i stayed when i was in Tampa Bay, Florida. I miss coco(cat), buddy(dog) and the people there.

The lower basement (down the ground ?its really cool)is where I slept and the attic ..was the office I worked in.When I arrived at the States, it was pitch dark and seems to me like Sungai Petani ahahhaha (its like the countryside in Malaysia) so yea...

It was summer when I was there .. thank gawd the house had air-condition and so ... i wasnt complainin' but then again, Malaysia is summer all year long! lol ! so what is there 2 complain about? oh yea this reminds me bout this lady, she was like ,"man!this plaz is gettin' my body burned up,I cant think straight anymore. Its drivin' me crazzzee!". that was life in Tampa Bay , Florida.
slooowww AND eaaaasaayyyyyy.

tried to blend in with the pace but like I said in my earlier post... preeety hard.
i guess its the Malaysian city culture I was in...you know ..everyone is always in a hurry... they don't always entertain strangers and most of the time ...minding their own business.

whereas in Tampa Bay, things r a lil' slower and people are friendlier?
I learn a lot in the states. taking it ezaaayyyyy.

Guess it is never too late to put them to practice what I learnt.

recently the Sanborns were in town.yerps they were in Malaysia

Left to right: david, emm, art,
me, & ellen

they did judah ben hur in sib kl and pjefc - - it was amazing! at the end of the play there was a minute standing ovation!there was this lady infront of us wiping off her tears :) it was definately a blast! and for those who missed it? they really missed it :P too bad..ouch!

aight..gona stop here cos the loading for the next pics is just toooooooooo slow

October 16, 2009

reunion

the Sanborns...
brings me back to the times in Florida when I was forced to stop working, to start breathing and recuperate from my work in Malaysia.

ellen constantly remind me to pace down my work cos there seem to be no end for me. and she was right.
it is like ...right after devo, it would be work , work , work. so much so I pretty much forgotten that I was in the States! I can still remember this one time when i worked late in the 'office' which was at the attic (its really cool - will upload the pic when im at my comp...) Art would say, "Jessica. Please go to bed. Its late." and I would say 'ok' but when i took my lappy to my room , I worked through the hours to get my assignments and work done right.

much have I learnt in the states, but have yet put into practice:
to pace myself and enjoy "time" with the people I love.

Art is definite a great role model for many. He wrote many great journeys he and his family had during his call to missions and his miraculous testimony of healing. It is called , "A Walking Miracle", which can be purchased in bookstores ie Canaanland...etc.
I really admire that man. He walks 10km a day and he never fails!
I have not heard any grumblings from that man when I worked with him...David mentioned that Art would thanked God in whatever situation he is and it reminded me how Job faithfully served God in his situation.

Sometimes the routines in life shapes us in a fainted way and so we have to dig deep in to discover their meanings. I guess not many think likewise especially people who whines at the smallest spots which was intended to complete a picture for them.
I am trying my best not to complain about my routines nowadays...and the reunion provided me a great jump to my next 'adventure'

= what a great - -family, reunion for me :)

hanging on a string

what can be more happening than puppetry?
their life is hung on a string steered by the puppeteer but more so is the script writer.
we see many imitations of productions which fails to execute what which was intended.
can a life be animated into emotions?
perhaps it may differ in the nature of the purpose of bringing out a message but not so in evangelism.

are we entertainers or living testimonies of Christ?
are we teaching more people to clown around in winning people for Christ than to disciple them in growing in Him? no matter how creative we get, the bottom line in carrying out His message cannot be meddled with thick make ups and fake testimonies through the puppets.
if extremists can say there are no "Christ" mentioned in a song why so should the puppets and clowns testify about Him where they have no life to begin with.

at the end of it, the script writers are the ones who hang their job on the line.
Who is writing your story?
a leader , creator or yourself?

...still clowning and hanging on a string?
when would believers live out boldly as His witnesses?
which would be the ultimate choice?

what is history

my fren asked me does not history shapes your future?
remember the same old cliche ,"if the devil reminds you of your past, remind him of his future."
no doubt he knows what is ahead of him but what is still ahead of you is his concern.
sometimes we are so engross in superstition that we cant be real anymore.
everything seems to be in a labeled box ,"spiritual attack", "betrayal" and "etc."
getting down to the bottomline,

our past can shape our future but it does not mean we stay blabbering about our past.
we cant say that we can do something about our future ignoring what shapes us now by our past.
balancing our thoughts and using it to the fullest would mean, not ignoring the changes, twitches, pains and reality of our situation. if we keep staying on the edge of grey, it brings us only self deceit and living each moment with a purpose seem aimless.

history: happy . flirty. sweet. betray. unforgettable . priceless.
what is history?
will bygones be bygones?
i dont think so.

acts

cant wait till this exam is done.
a strange , ill feeling crept up when i read on baptism...

i remembered this person who spend most of the time plotting in a whole lot of mind game.
there was no doubt that deception was the game.
reverting truth into ugly schemes,
it makes me think why on earth is this life spared?
i remember whining to him about lives of the innocent ones, the new Christians and their future ...could it be that the cause for these plots, plans and schemes are caused by jealousy?

can a person continues in, deliberate or intentional sins and still escape from pardon?

then it dawn on me in Acts 2, matt 21:14,mark11:15-19,john 2:13-16....
all the prominent events to happen in those hinge moments. was necessary to orchestrate a bigger picture which would probably never be seen or heard of by myself or the ministry.

for that reason I finally come to terms that a new adventure awaits for those who earnestly seek Him.

ACTS....

A revealed purpose and definitely NOT for these schemers who are nevertheless the
faint heart ed...

pain is good?

hats up 2dis lady in my class 4sharing a good devo.

compassion.

in a nutshell, she shares that it involves pain , risk & investment which results in healing for the sick, healing of the heart and whatever you name it, there it is.

but the most I gain from yesterday's class was not the devo.. but our lecturer's view on the topic:disappointment. how one's actions affects the "faith" of another.
we are all casualities of it.

often said, it is easier to judge and giving advices... plunging in risks, pain and a great investment which would transform lives yadada... to add on?
.. the psycho talks by extremist ... believe me, its very annoying to meet them.
and they somehow do not excite me. :)

if pain is all good, why the healing?
if pain results in successful outcomes, why are we learning steps to avoid mistakes?
if pain is an investment, why the little returns on appreciation? (false humility eh?)

it was a very long time ago when I shared with people (whom I thought at that time, was worth investing) that disappointments takes a very heavy toll on our spiritual walk.

Much as we say: to place it on 'God's altar'(it means to leave your burdens at an unseen place of sacrifice, or a creative imagination of a place to dump your feelings), have a priority list (chart in placing God first, etc) and living uprightly,

all in all it...

somehow mirror, wicked conditions of the human heart.
No matter how genuine we can be,
I believe the percentage of a pessimist view would have greater influence than an optimist view. period.
it's even more devastating if ego steps in..

but I'm glad one special person made a difference in my life.....
he broke the norm of disappointments, he helped me recognize that we have a responsibility in handling our pains.
I love him loadsss.
erm...nope I'm not talking about Jesus (can't stand this guy who posts up about his "friend" and trying to preach from the blog than acting real to his own peers, man its already so sad that he doesnt have 'friends' , let alone preaching about Him ?

We know Christ' works and word are irrevokeable , infallible and awesome but let's get real I'm talking about a person.

well it is no surprise that person is my sweetie. :)

how true that the people closest to us have a greater impact on us and no matter how religious , pious or devoted a person can be, we cannot avoid the pain of dispointments.
thank gawd, no matter what we do, we just got to own up & take responsibility in helping others out of the ditch of disappointments. He helped me :) thanks sweetie

i don't think pain is good but I do think it scars us to avoid making mistakes & it is not pschoing your pain into a so called good use (the maybes as some would say, that will help them in future yadada...)

recognize that the pain effects are bad.

bad bad bad

.. and we face disappointments every time.

though we cannot avoid certain pains like (this illustration is for mothers)child labour, or surgery/infection etc, there's got to be a wake up call for believers (Christians) to GET REAL.
recognise that we cannot avoid pain and it is not good at all on us what more the effects on others.

pain is soooo not good.. not good at all.

..looks like we have a heavy responsibility on our preaching...
disappointments are unavoidable however we can change the outcome

what should it be

what is it like to venture into a new society,
where no one knows who you are,
what you do,
where you went....
how long would you think it takes, for an identity to be fully erased for an exchange of a new identity?

this were the questions raised in 'mom at 16'.
a show which call for a way notto cheat truth and be responsible. some opt to indulge themselves in religious activities, surround themselves with friends and family hoping they could cheat their way through carnal passions and desires.
can we really cheat our passions and desires?
what sin can we hide, God is unable to see and yet a new chapter we hope to find may not be what it should be.

toilet groupie shots

we were on the topic about your convos being pasted in blogs...
was browsing through pics which was highlighted in the facebook and its funny to see these loosers posing infront of the mirror taking pics of themselves IN THE 1 UTAMA TOILET hahahahhahaha here's the side view of them

it got me thinking ...what on earth is going on in their head ? or that is if they have one)
takin'so many quirky pics

don't be a victim of "toilet- groupie- shots" cos it stinks :D
they do get really stupid each time they explore on various 'poses'
here is what you can do.
the next time they approach you, just tell them that you have better taste than degrading yourself by taking pics in the 1 UTAMA TOILET :D

MYSTERY SURPRISESSS.......
